Lisa Congdon

Lisa is full of surprises—she didn’t start drawing and painting until she was in her late 30s. We were drawn in by Lisa’s honest and thoughtful storytelling of her journey from working at an education nonprofit to becoming a full-time artist. She also shared candidly about her struggles along the way and how she’s grown more confident in the process, which was totally refreshing and encouraging. Thank you, Lisa, for sharing with us the wisdom you’ve collected in your journey. —Tina

Eric White

Eric’s paintings are rich with nostalgia, meticulously executed, and hauntingly surreal. As if his work isn’t awesome enough, Eric is a super cool guy, totally humble and generous. Eric was kind enough to share with us about how he made the transition into full-time painting, life as an artist in New York, the risks he’s taken over the years, and what he’s learned in the process. —Tina

Rachel Ann Lindsay

Looking at Rachel’s pen and ink drawings for the first time, we felt a sense of wonder over the way they made us feel like small children again. We just had to know more. Rachel graciously agreed to interview with us and we had the pleasure of speaking with her about overcoming the urge to draw perfectly, what and who helped her dive into full-time freelancing, and what she would say to a young artist starting out. —Tina
